THE ONE AND ONLY, KINGPIN
Great interview. Vincent D'Onofrio was born to play Kingpin. So much emotional depth in the character, he’s angry and dangerous but you can’t help but empathize with him as well. Loved his portrayal in the Daredevil Netflix series and the Hawkeye show. Excited to see him back in Echo.
Love him 😍 especially his antagonist roles. He's so underrated.
"My bodyguard" was a great movie.
Damn, hearing him casually talk still sounds a bit like Kingpin, it scares me 😂

I'm happy as hell to see KINGPIN and think Vincent does a WONDERFUL JOB I hope they use him more in the MCU
I feel so bad for him at 1:08 .... it sounds like he says he can't help the script he gets but he wants to honor the character so he embraces it.
Which is honorable and hopefully he will get stories for the character that he finds more the caliber he desires.
Don't worry, Daredevil: Born Again will give his character justice like in the Netflix show

Just a weird thought I’m having about how kingpin manipulates people and why. His father was very forceful direct and commanding. Kingpin knows he needs people to carry out his orders and directives but refuses to be like his father so he finds other ways to get people to do the things that he needs done.
I think the fascinating aspect about these kind of characters is they want to stray away from their abusive parent’s path but subsequently also in a way subtly following their footsteps, another example I remember is Soldier Boy, he hates his dad but the way he treated Homelander as a disappointment mirror how his dad sees him, life is just full of these little irony
@@madtitan0825 that’s a great analysis. I’ve only seen bits and pieces of the boys. But that’s really cool. Kind of makes you think about the nature versus nurture and free will versus fate.
